Focus on future technologies: VOLEX, EcoGentle® and Co shaped EREMA's appearance at K 2025
The K trade fair in Düsseldorf is the world's most important event for the plastics industry and plastics recycling. As a recycling pioneer, EREMA has been shaping the trade fair with ground-breaking innovations since 1983, making recycling a central cornerstone of the plastics world.
EREMA is a key driver of the circular economy for plastics.
K 2025: Numerous EREMA innovations
K 2025 has come to a successful close – and under the motto ‘EDVANCED RECYCLING – prime solutions for advanced recycling’, EREMA impressively demonstrated how innovations can take productivity and cost-effectiveness in recycling production to a whole new level. The focus was on two groundbreaking technologies.
VOLEX – VOLATILES EX, PURITY IN:
With VOLEX, EREMA presented a completely new dimension in degassing performance. For the first time, water stripping technology is integrated into a single-screw extruder without compromising throughput or pellet quality. The new technology achieves impressive degassing performance with as much as 40 percent lower VOCs (volatile organic compounds) in the final recycled pellets than with INTAREMA® TVEplus® standard degassing.
EcoGentle® plasticising technology:
Also new was EcoGentle®, now available for HDPE, LDPE, PP and BOPET. This technology ensures lower melt temperatures, reduced energy consumption and higher pellet quality – even with challenging input materials.
Live recycling: 11 materials, one machine: INTAREMA® TVEplus® DuaFil® Compact impresses at K 2025
In addition to these highlights, visitors were also able to experience the live processing of 11 different types of plastic – on the compact INTAREMA® TVEplus® DuaFil® Compact double filter system. The variety of materials impressively demonstrated how flexible and powerful the technology is.
Visitors to EREMA at the K trade fair in Düsseldorf – in Hall 9 / Stand C09 and in the outdoor area FG CE03 – were able to see for themselves how our solutions make processes more efficient and further improve the quality of regranulates.
