Thanks to the INTAREMA® TVEplus® DuaFil® Compact technology, post-consumer LD/LLDPE film waste – including supermarket film (98/2) – can now be recycled into high-quality stretch and shrink films. This marks a big step forward in making circular packaging reality for a broader and more demanding segment of the film market.
EREMA technology makes it possible to achieve such high regranulate levels when recycling supermarket film (98/2): Stretch film (8 µm) can consist of up to 30% recycled material, shrink film (>20 µm) can even contain up to 50%.
“LD/LLDPE stretch and shrink films are short-lived packaging materials – but they’re made from high-end polymers and are therefore too valuable to waste. With our DuaFil Compact system, we provide a solution that delivers the filtration fineness and process stability needed to return this post-consumer directly to film production – at scale and with confidence.”
Jan Stöger, Head of Sales at the EREMA Group
