Since 2023, this product has been made entirely from recycled plastic, obtained from waste extracted from the sea in the south of Chile. The regranulate for the bread trays comes from the Atando Cabos initiative in Chile with the participation of EREMA's Chilean customer Comberplast.

Currently, 10 % of the material corresponds to plastic waste generated by the producer’s own operation.

Julio Compagnon, Managing Director, Comberplast

“Sustainability and environmental responsibility are now core elements of a successful business model. Recycling-based products like our bread tray are a powerful example: they prove that doing what’s right for people and the planet can also be a profitable business.”

Julio Compagnon, Managing Director, Comberplast
